SANAA, June 5 (YPA) – Sudanese troops, that sent to Yemen, were being secretly trained by Qatari officers, Sudanese diplomatic sources said.
The sources revealed that Qatar continues to play a mysterious role in Yemen’s war.
Qater benefited from its relationship with the Sudanese president to return to participate in the coalition led by Saudi and the UAE against Yemen, but by using Sudanese forces.
Qatari sources confirmed on Monday evening that Qatar intends to send a group of professional officers to Sudan to train the battalions, which is mobilized by President al-Bashir to be sent to Yemen to participate in the battle fought by the coalition countries.
Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have accused Qatar of supporting terrorism and have ended its participation in the coalition and imposed a political and economic embargo on it for nearly a year.
