Officer killed in ambush in Taiz

TAIZ, Jul. 08 (YPA) – An officer was killed and five recruits injured in an ambush targeted the leader of Cairo castle site, Abduallah al-Sharaabi in Taiz province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources said that groups of 22 Micka brigade carried out an armed ambush on 30 street which led to eruption of clashes using various weapons resulted in killing an officer and injuring five recruits.

The sources pointed out that the confrontations came due to disputes on lands among the armed groups.
