STC carries out massive arrest campaign in Dhalea

DHALEA, Jul. 07 (YPA) – Forces affiliated with the so-called Southern Transitional Council loyal to the UAE on Wednesday carried out a massive arrest campaign in Dhalea province, southern Yemen.

Local sources said that the forces of the so-called “security belt force” funded by the UAE arrested many activists and citizens because of their demonstrations denouncing the high cost of living, the deterioration of the Yemeni riyal value, and the interruption of salaries.

It should be noted that the provinces under the control of the Saudi-led coalition and Hadi’s government are witnessing an accelerating economic collapse that has weighed heavily on the citizens, especially with the Hadi government continuing to print currency in Russia, which doubles the suffering of Yemenis.
