FM: UN doesn’t not have method supporting peace in Yemen

SANAA, Jul. 04 (YPA) – The Yemeni deputy foreign minister in Sanaa, “Hussein Al-Ezzi,” said on Sunday the United Nations doesn’t have a method that supports peace or encourages respect for UN-sponsored agreements in Yemen.

Al-Ezzi, said on Twitter, “It has been more than three years since the Sweden agreement on Hodeida, and the Saudi-led coalition party is still refraining from implementing it, and contrary to what the agreement stipulated, it continues to seize oil ships.”

“The coalition launched air raids on Hodeida in a flagrant violation of the agreement and the UN’s silence to issue any condemnation,” Al-Ezzi added. The funny thing is that UN said one day that our targeting to Al-Anad base in Abyan is a violation of the spirit of the Hodeida Agreement.

Al-Ezzi stressed, “It is time for Yemen to realize that the United Nations will remain in this way and will not act as the UN as long as there is one or more Gulf states in the matter, noting that there are not any solutions until America and the rich countries get out of the file.”
