Pro-coalition leader attacks Marib tribes

MARIB, Jul. 01 (YPA) – A prominent military commander in the ranks of the Saudi-led coalition forces attacked on Thursday Marib tribes.

A southern journalist, “Marwan al-Hamdi”, loyal to the coalition in Marib, said on Twitter, Brigadier General Ali Ammar al-Jaifi, commander of the “14th Armored Brigade” of the coalition forces in “Sahn al-Jin” area, has described the armed groups of Marib tribes in support of the coalition as “traitors and cowards.”

Al-Ahmadi explained al-Jaifi said: “These groups are coming to the coalition forces’ camps only in order to get money, but they return to their homes escaping from the front, when confrontations just has started to break out.”

Al-Jaifi demanded the leadership of the coalition to stop providing money to the Marib tribes and their cowardly sons, he added.

Previously, Brigadier General “Saleh al-Amiri al-Jahmi, loyal to the coalition had attacked the sons of Marib tribes, accused, on April 10, the sheikhs of the Murad tribe of treason after withdrawing their military groups that were fighting in the ranks of the coalition on several fronts.
