STC accuses Islah of imposing terrorism on Shabwah

SHABWAH, Jun. 28 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia has called on the international community and coalition states to condemn the Islah militants’ blockade of Shabwh province.

The STC accused the Islah of spreading terrorist elements, killing and terrorizing Shabwah’s sons , and imposing a new demographic reality on the province.

It stressed at its regular meeting on Monday that Shabwah will not be an incubator for the presence of the Muslim  Brotherhood that is completely  rejected.

The STC called on the coalition and the regional and international community to lift the siege on Shabwah.

It said the hysterical response of Islah militants by cutting off and the ongoing kidnappings in Shabwah and storming the platform of the Abadan Festival is evidence of the chaos and violations against  the province’s sons.
