Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada threatens US with open war in response to airstrikes

SANAA, Jun. 28 (YPA) – Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada (KSS) in Iraq has vowed to open war  againt the US forces in response to  airstrikes carried out by US aircraft targeting areas inside Iraq-Syria border.

“From now on, we will go to open war with the US occupation and target its aircraft in Iraq,” KSS said in a statement .

Four people were killed as a result of US airstrikes on the border between Syria and Iraq at 2:00 a.m.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted its correspondent as saying that the aggression caused the martyrdom of a child, the injury of 3 civilians and material damage.
