Police destroy 2,000 kg of hashish in Hodeida

HODEIDA, Jun. 27 (YPA) – Police seized on Sunday over 2,000 kg of hashish, heroin and morphine in Hodeida province.

During the destruction, head of the province Appeal Prosecution Judge, Hadi Aida explained that the destruction process was carried out based on the directions of the Attorney General of the Republic, Dr. Mohammed Al-Dailami.

He pointed out that the destruction process coincides with the International Day for the Fight against Drugs, adding Yemen’s keenness and the security and judicial agencies to combat this the dangerous phenomenon.
