Hamas calls on Palestinians to escalate uprising in West Bank

SANAA, Jun. 27 (YPA) – The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” called on the Palestinian people to escalate of the uprising in the occupied West Bank, to confront the Zionist enemy and its settlement projects.

The movement’s spokesman, Abdel Latif al-Qanou, said on Twitter: “The occupation government’s approval of a settlement plan that includes 31 settlements in the West Bank is evidence of the extremism of new Zionist government that has shown its continuation again in the policy of settlement incursion, theft of land and uprooting its people.”

Al-Qanou’ called for “the expansion of the popular resistance in all parts of the West Bank to confront the occupation’s incursion and its settlement projects.”

Last week, the Israeli occupation authorities approved 31 plans to build in new settlements built on Palestinian land in the occupied West Bank for the first time during the era of the Naftali Bennett government.
