Bomb blast targets military leader in Dhalea

DHALEA, Jun. 23 (YPA) – A military leader loyal to the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) was injured on Wednesday in a bomb blast in Dhalea province, south of Yemen.

Local sources affirmed that an explosive device, which was planted among the trees at the entrance to Al-Jabbara market, detonated when the leader of the Fifth Brigade, Aidarous Shaif Ahmed Al-Halimi, was passing through.

The sources added that a number of Al-Halimi’s companions were wounded also in the explosion.
