Al-Houthi comments on Griffiths’ remarks

SANAA, Jun. 16 (YPA) -Top member in the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, had commented on remarks made by UN envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths, in which he accused Ansarullah of “wanting a ceasefire only after agreements have been reached on the port of Hodeidah.”

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi wrote that “Martin Griffiths has left any serious and realistic solutions that do not accept [the Saudi] crimes and violations of [international] law and international norms, for the sake of bargaining with them [the Saudi-led invaders]. He now presents [these bargains] as magic solutions that could erase the stink of these violations.”

Griffiths accused Ansarullah at a UN Security Council session of rejecting a nationwide ceasefire and wanting to start peace negotiations “only after agreements have been reached on the use of Hodeidah port and Sana’a airport.”
