Mohammed Al-Houthi reveals Sanaa’s opinion on “holding negotiations with coalition in Qatar”
SANAA, Jun. 16 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, has clarified Sanaa’s opinion regarding holding negotiations with the Saudi-led coalition in Qatar.
In a tweet on his Twitter account on Wednesday, Al-Houthi indicated that if there were positive responses from the coalition to the reply of the Leader of the Revolution to the Omani delegation, then it is possible to agree to hold a round of negotiations.
“If the aggression countries respond positively to the reply of the leader of the revolution to the Omani Sultan’s message, there is no objection to sitting down to complete the dialogue in Qatar,” he said.
In the same context, the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, expressed his hope, during his recent briefing to the UN Security Council, that the Sultanate of Oman’s efforts to cease fire in Yemen would succeed.
