Worker killed in Georgia

SANAA, Jun. 15 (YPA) – A worker was shot dead by a customer on Monday, in a dispute over the muzzle situation, before the gunman was injured in a shootout with the store guard,” said DeKalb County Sheriff Melody Maddox, Georgia.

“The store guard was injured in the incident at the Big Bear store in DeKalb County,” Maddox said at a press conference.

Sheriff Melody Maddox added the dispute started over wearing a mask inside the store.

There were several people in the shop when the dispute erupted so that the gunman would show his weapon and shoot the worker. Maddox said the security guard opened fire on him and injured him.

Companies, stores and other businesses in Georgia may ask customers to wear a mask  to limit the spread of Covid-19 but are prohibited from requiring them to do so, according to executive orders issued by Republican Governor Brian Kemp.
