STC pushes military reinforcements to Abyan

ABYAN, Jun. 14 (YAP) – The Southern Transitional Council (STC) backed by the UAE pushed on Monday military reinforcements to Abyan province, south of Yemen.

local sources stated the reinforcements, including dozens of heavily armed crews and a vehicles and armored vehicles, moved from Aden to Abyan.

The sources indicated to the strong escalation by the STC came to pursue the remnants of the Islah group in Abyan.

Last week, the terrorist operation targeted members of the STC in Abyan, killing 7 militants and wounding approximately 15 others from the Security Belt Forces in province.
