Parliament hears Industry Committee’s report
SANAA, Jun. 14 (YPA) – The Parliament listened, in its meeting on Monday, to the report of the Trade and Industry Committee regarding its follow-up and study of the conditions of the General Corporation for Spinning and Weaving Industry and its affiliated units.
The report included an overview of the Corporation, its organizational structure, and the advantages of transforming it from a public corporation into a holding company.
In its report, the committee noted to its field visits to the spinning and weaving factory, and the inquiries it made to the Corporation and the responses to those inquiries.
The report included also a set of observations and conclusions reached by the committee, in addition to the recommendations.
The Parliament postponed the discussion of the report to a future session in the presence of the concerned government side.
