Meteorology warns against ongoing dust wave within coming hours

SANAA, Jun. 14 (YPA) – The National Center Meteorology warned against the ongoing dust wave sweeping the Yemeni provinces within the coming 24 hours.

The center affirmed in its weather forecast on Monday that the atmosphere in the mountainous heights would be dusty and partly cloudy, with the possibility of forming pieces of rainy clouds on parts of the western and southwestern mountain slopes.

The weather in the coastal areas will be relatively dusty and partly cloudy, with the winds are moderate, active on the southern and eastern coasts, especially the coasts of Hadramout, with a maximum speed of 30 knots.

In the same time, the weather of the Socotra archipelago will be clear to partly cloudy, with active southwesterly winds reaching a maximum speed of 45 knots.

The center warned also citizens in areas affected by the widespread phenomenon of dust, especially patients, the elderly, and children, to take the necessary precautions.
