Army repels 2 militias’ advances in Jizan
JIZAN, June 3 (YPA) – The Yemen army on Sunday repelled two of Saudi army and its militias’ advances southern province of Jizan, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
In Dukhan mount of Jizan, the army repelled an advance, killing and wounding dozens of Saudi-Backed militias, said the official.
A number of militias were captured and a military vehicle and a tank were destroyed during repelling the advance in Dukhan mount.
The army also repelled another advance of Saudi soldiers in the east of Shabaka mount in front of Khubah, in an attempt to restore the mount.
The official added that a number of Saudi soldiers and militias were killed and injured during repelling their advance, which lasted for hours.
