Human rights activist causes angry protests in Aden
ADEN, Jun. 08 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia kidnapped Monday evening a human rights activist and took him to one of its prisons in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen.
Local sources stated that STC members stormed the house of human rights activist Fouad Al-Kholidi, known as “Al-Diqan”, in Tawahi area and arrest him against the background of posting videos on social media, in which he touched on the tragic living conditions of citizens in Aden.
As a result, angry night protests erupted in Tawahi area, in which the protesters roamed the streets of the area, condemning the kidnapping of the activist Al-Diqan.
