Al-Houthi meets with representative of Hamas

SANAA, Jun 6 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, met on Saturday in Sanaa, the representative of Hamas in Yemen, Moaz Abu Shamala.

In the meeting, al-Houthi affirmed the Yemeni people’s interaction to support the Palestinian cause in response to the call of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Houthi.

He touched on the interest of the President of the Supreme Political Council and the National Salvation Government in the Palestinian cause from being the central issue of the nation.

Al-Houthi expressed the Yemeni people’s pride in the struggle of the Palestinian people and its view of the Palestinian factions from a single perspective, considering standing by the Palestinians who are in the first trench to defend the nation.

He told the representative of Hamas to convey his greetings to the head of the Hamas political bureau, Dr. Ismail Haniyeh.

Meanwhile, Hamas representative conveyed the Hamas leadership’s greetings to the Yemeni leadership, represented by Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi.

Abu Shamala appreciated for the initiatives launched by the leader of the revolution and the interaction of the Yemeni people in support of the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause.

He said, “We feel brotherhood and comfortable in Yemen, and this indicates the Yemeni people’s love for Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

Abu Shamala pointed out that all indicators confirm the correctness of the resistance as the correct way to liberate Palestine.

At the end of the meeting, Abu Shamala presented the shield of Hamas to Supreme Political Council member, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, in appreciation of his role in supporting the Palestinian cause.
