SANAA, June 6 (YPA) – An Afghan official announced on Sunday that 14 security personnel, including a district police chief in Faryab province, were killed in clashes with the Taliban on Saturday night.
Nader Saeedi, a member of the Faryab province border with Turkmenistan (in the north), which was quoted by the local Tolo News channel, said that at least 14 members of the security forces, including Saif Rahman Dehzad, police chief of Qaisar district in Faryab, were killed in clashes with the Taliban.
In a related context, the same channel said that an explosion occurred on Sunday in Kabul, after an explosive device was planted at a bus station, injuring six people, without further details.
