Yemeni drone strike hits King Khalid air base in Saudi Arabia

SANAA, Jun.06 (YPA) – The Yemeni Air Force carried out an offensive against King Khalid air base in Khamis Mushait in Saudi Arabia’s southwestern province of Asir.

“The Air Force hit sensitive targets inside the King Khalid Airbase near the Saudi city of Khamis Mushait in the early hours of Sunday,” Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e said in a statement

“The attack was launched by a domestically-manufactured Qasef-2K combat drone,” Sare’e added.

“The new strike was accurate and hit its target successfully,” he stated.

“This operation comes in the course of the legitimate and natural right to address the aggression and its continued blockade against dear Yemen,” Sare’e emphasized.
