STC militias detain Hadi’s interior minister

SHABWAH, Jun.01 (YPA) – A military force of the UAE-backed  Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias intercepted the Interior Minister in  Hadi’s government and prevented him from reaching Shabwah province.

 Informed sources said that the gunmen of the so-called “Ba Rasheed Brigade” deployed between Hadhramaut and Shabwah provinces, detained on Monday, Ibrahim Haydan, Hadi’s Interior Minister on the  Mukalla-Ataq road, for several hours.

 The STC’s elements confirmed that they had received instructions from General Abdul Da’yam Alshuaibi, who belongs to Dhalea province, to release  the Minister Haydan, on condition that he return from where he came from.

 The sources pointed out that The Minister “Hadi” returned to the city of Mukalla, the capital of Hadhramaut, and held an emergency meeting of the so-called High Security Committee in the province, calling for the inclusion of the STC’s militias within the leadership o Ministry of  Defense in “Hadi government”.
