STC kidnaps military leader in Socotra

SOCOTRA, Jun 1 (YPA) – A military leader in the Saudi-backed Hadi’s government was kidnapped on Tuesday in the island of Socotra, sources said.

The sources affirmed that the militants of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) kidnapped the training official of the so-called “military police, Saeed Al-Daiya, in the Island.

According to the sources, the militants deposited Al-Daiya in one of its prisons, after it launched a campaign of kidnappings against many leaders loyal to Islah and the “Hadi government.”
