In its warning bulletin, the center called on chest patients and the elderly to take the necessary precautions to prevent themselves.
The Meteorological Center stated that satellite images showed the presence of dust in parts of Jawf and Marib provinces.
The center expected the dust to spread in the coming hours to include parts of the provinces of Jawf, Marib, Saada, Sanaa, Amran, Shabwa, Bayda, and Dhamar.
The center urged drivers on long and mountainous roads to take precautions against the decrease in the range of horizontal visibility due to dust.
