One goes missing, 274 others rescue in huge fire in Indonesia

SANAA, May 30 (YPA) – About one people went missing and 274 have been rescued on Sunday in a huge fire broke out in a ferry in Indonesia.

French press agency said the ferry was heading to the Moluccas when the fire broke out, forcing some passengers to jump into the water.

The agency quoted the official in charge of the rescue operation, Mohammed Arafa, as saying, ” Mostly 274 passengers, including 35 children, on board the ferry were safely evacuated, and we are still looking for a 43-year-old missing man.”
