Major fire leaves 8 injured in Taiz

TAIZ, May 27 (YPA) – At least eight people were injured and three vehicles were burned Wednesday morning due to a mysterious fire  broke out at a fuel station in the Islah-controlled city of Taiz, southwest Yemen.

Local sources stated that a fire broke out at ‘Al-Haddad’ fuel station near Jawlat  al- Kahrba in ‘Wadi Al-Qadi’ area in Osayfira district.

The sources added that the fire broke out in the fuel tanks of the station “Al-Haddad”, injuring 8 people, and burning three vehicles.

The reason for the fire, which caused thick smoke covering the area, was not known so far.
