One killed in STC militias attack in Lahj

LHAJ, May 25 (YPA) – A citizens was killed and others were wounded on Tuesday in an attack carried out by militants in Lahj province, south of Yemen.

According to sources, the attack targeted the convoy of the commander of the so-called “First Thunderbolt Brigade of the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias in Al-Habilain area.

On Monday, one of the STC’s leaders , Abdul Karim Al-Solani, was subjected to an assassination attempt with an armed attack in Al-Habailin area in Lahj.

The sources pointed out that the attack, which hit one of the military vehicles accompanying the leader Solani, killed one person and injured two other travelers during the accident.
