NCM warns against heat-wave within coming hours

SANAA, May 23 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM ) warned citizens of a heat-wave targeting desert and coastal areas within the coming 24 hours.

The center said in an weather forecast expected rainfall on western and southwestern slopes, alerting residents not to be in the water channels and valleys.

It called on fishermen in south of the Socotra archipelago and Bab al-Mandab to take away from sea turbulence and high waves, with southwesterly winds reaching 25 knots.
