Hamas: we obtained guarantees to lift the occupation hand off Sheikh Jarrah and Al-Aqsa Mosque

GAZA, May 21 (YPA) – Hamas leader Osama Hamdan said the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip will take into effect on Friday at 2 a.m,  stressing that the resistance is “ready for any development.

Hamdan said in an interview with Al-Mayadeen TV that the Palestinian resistance “has obtained guarantees from the mediators that the aggression against Gaza will stop”, and other guarantees to “lift the hand of the occupation from Sheikh Jarrah and al-Aqsa Mosque”.

“ Thus, the resistance has proved a new way to victory and a new equation,” he stated.

Regarding Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s recent positions, Hamdan said, “Assad’s position in support of the resistance is not strange or surprising, and who greets us with a greeting, we greet in return with what is better than it.
