249 kg of hashish seized in Amran

AMRAN, May 20 (YPA) – The drug-countering unit in the police branch in Harf Sofyan district of Amran province on Wednesday seized 249 kilograms of narcotic hashish.

The unit said that the hashish quantity was hidden in a locomotive under the back chair of driver and in the lorry’s water tank.

The seized hashish was coming from the areas controlled by the Saudi-led coalition forces and heading for the areas under the control of the National Salvation Government, the unit added.
