Malaysia takes more measures to protect Palestinian leaders after Israeli threats

SANAA, May 18 (YPA) – The Malaysian police announced that it had taken all necessary measures to protect Palestinian leaders on its lands, after the spread of allegations about threats made by the Israeli enemy intelligence service to wage assassination operation.

Commenting on the matter, the official in Malaysian Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani, told reporters on Tuesday that they took the threats that spread on the Internet very seriously.

He stressed that the Malaysian police are closely following all developments related to the matter, calling on the people of his country to remain calm and indifferent to fake news.

On Monday, the Malaysian Cyber Defense Operations Center said that the Israeli enemy intelligence service is preparing to carry out operations against Palestinian leaders and figures in countries around the world, including Malaysia.

In April 2018, the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, witnessed the assassination of “Fadi Al-Batsh,” the Palestinian engineer specializing in drone development studies, and Israel entity and its intelligence services were accused of carrying out the operation.
