SANAA, May 18 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) expected the cloudy to partly cloudy weather in the mountainous heights and coastal areas within the next 24 hours.
The center affirmed in its weather forecast that the weather would be partly cloudy with the possibility of rainy cumulus clouds accompanied by thunderstorms on parts of the western and southwestern mountain heights of the provinces of Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz, Lahj, Mahwait, and Hajjah.
In the coastal areas, the weather will be partly cloudy with a rise in extreme temperatures and forming rainy clouds on parts of the coastal plains of the provinces of Hodeida, Taiz and Lahj.
Depending on the center, the winds will be light to moderate in speed, reaching a maximum speed of 20 knots at the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.
Additionally, Socotra Archipelago will witness partly cloudy weather with the possibility of light rain, and southwesterly moderate winds to reach its speeds to 20 knots.
