Palestine flag flying in FA Cup final

LONDON, May 16 (YPA) – Two players from the English club Leicester City hoisted the Palestinian flag after their team’s victory over Chelsea on Saturday in the FA Cup Final, as an expression of solidarity with the Palestinian people against the aggressions of the Israeli occupation.

After the referee announced the end of the match, the English Leicester City’s players, Hamza Chaudhuri and the Frenchman Wesley Fofana carried the Palestinian flag in solidarity with its people.

Leicester City achieved a big surprise by winning the FA Cup at the expense of Chelsea in the final 1-0.
