India exceeds barrier of 20 million cases of corona

SANAA, May 4 (YPA) – The Indian Ministry of Health announced that the total number of Coronavirus cases in the country exceeded 20 million, after more than 357,000 new infections were recorded during the past twenty-four hours.
According to the data of the Indian Ministry of Health today, Tuesday: “357,229 new infections were recorded during the past 24 hours, while deaths increased by 3449, bringing the total to 222408.”
India has become the second country in the world, after the United States, with more than twenty million injuries. India recorded the first 10 million infections over a period of more than ten months, while it took just over four months for the other 10 million to be recorded.
Medical experts say the real numbers in India, the second most populous country of 1.35 billion people, may be five or ten times the official toll.
