139 prisoners released in Hodeida under presidential pardon

HODEIDA, April 29 (YPA) – The Public Prosecution of Hodeida province on Thursday released 139 prisoners who had served two-thirds of the prison sentence and who had no special rights for others.

Head of Hodeida Appeals Prosecution Office, Judge Hadi Eidah, explained that the release came according to the amnesty announced by the President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi Al-Mashat for prisoners sentenced to deprivation of liberty penalties and who spent two-thirds of their sentence based on conclusive rulings.
