Heavy rains hit Aden

ADEN, April 29 (YPA) – Heavy rains hit the southern Yemeni city of Aden on Thursday morning, causing the closure of the main streets.

Houses have flooded and cars remain trapped in water in some parts of the coastal city.

Amid fears that this new seasonal wave will lead to a wider outbreak of epidemics that could sweep the city.

Yemen’s airspace is experiencing weather disturbances and meteorological centers say there are high chances of heavy rains in large areas of the country.
