Clashes between pro-coalition factions in Taiz leave dead, wounded

TAIZ, April 26 (YPA) – Violent confrontations broke out on Monday between military forces backed by the Saudi-led coalition and militants affiliated with Islah Party loyal to the coalition in Taiz province.

Local sources reported that a military campaign of the so-called “35th Armored Brigade” moved to arrest the Islahi leader “Habib Al-Same’i,” wanted for killing a member of the brigade weeks ago.

The sources emphasized that after the arrival of the military campaign to “Al-Hob” village in Same’ district, violent clashes erupted between the two sides, resulting in the killing of a recruiter from the 35th Brigade and four militants of Islah and wounding several others, in addition to the burning of a military patrol car.
