Fierce battles erupt among Yemeni army, al-Qaeda militants in Marib

MARIB, April 25 (YPA) – The Yemeni army and popular committees launched on Saturday a wide-scale attack on coalition’s and al-Qaeda sites in east of al-Talaah al-Hamraa city in Marib province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources said that the army carried out an attack targeted coalition’s troops and al-Qaeda militants sites, inflicting them heavy losses in lives.

The sources confirmed that the army is about to liberate a site belong to al-Qaeda organization elements.

According to the sources, coalition’s warplanes waged three air strikes on confrontatios sites in al-Talaah al-Hamraa.
