Military spokesman: the coming strikes against Saudi targets will hold the name of martyr Al-Sammad

SANAA, April 20 (YPA) – Yemeni Armed Forces announced that the coming strikes against Saudi targets will hold the name of former president of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council martyr Saleh Al-Sammad.

“The Armed Forces are planning for more operations and they are awaiting orders by the leadership which has the final say on the time and place of such strikes,” Saree told Yemeni Channel Al-Massirah.

“Blood of martyr Sammad won’t go in vain,” the military spokesman said.

The statement came during an official visit of the Supreme Political Council, the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff Presidency to the shrine of the martyr President Saleh Al-Sammad on the third anniversary of his martyrdom.

Al-Sammad was martyred on the 19th April 2018, when a Saudi-coalition air raid targeted his vehicle near the besieged port city of Hodeidah.
