Morocco seeks to conclude a deal with Turkey to buy 12 drones

SANAA, April 17 (YPA) – A Moroccan website revealed that its country is seeking to conclude a deal with Turkey to modernize the Royal Moroccan Air Force by acquiring 12 Turkish “Berikdar TB2” drones.

 The Moroccan website “Hespress” reported that the Royal Air Force had applied to acquire 12 of this type, which is considered one of the most advanced drones.

 The Turkish marches achieved a great international reputation, thanks to the prominent role they played in changing the scales in many conflict areas, such as Syria, Libya, and recently the Karabakh region, which Azerbaijan liberated from the Armenian occupation.

 It is also in a gray area between anti-aircraft defense capabilities, leading to the use of heavier, less flexible and more expensive medium-range systems.

 Its operating system is described as Predator, as it can perform more than one task simultaneously; These include surveillance, reconnaissance, information distribution, and attacking targets, as well as great endurance, and the price of one plane is $ 56 million.

 On Friday, the French intelligence site Africa Intelligence said that Morocco had bought 13 Turkish “Bayraktar” drones.

 On Friday, the website added that Morocco also bought ground control stations from Turkey, in addition to these routers.
