Zionist occupation continues to seize Palestinian lands in West Bank

SANAA, April 17 (YPA) – The Zionist occupation continues to seize Palestinian lands to expand settlement operations and implement its colonial plans to annex parts of the West Bank in clear violation of international law and resolutions of international legitimacy.

The National Bureau for Land Defense and Settlement Resistance of the Palestine Liberation Organization stated in its weekly report issued today, Saturday, that the occupation authorities have announced plans to expand settlements built on Palestinian lands in the towns of Al-Shuyoukh, Sa’ir and Khallat Al-Batma in Hebron, Saniria in Qalqilya, Deir Dibwan in Ramallah, and the villages of Al-Ras and Al-Tire in Tulkarm, What threatens to seize large areas of Palestinian land.

The report pointed out that the occupation forces demolished a house in the Ashkara area in Hebron and another in the town of Beit Sahour in Bethlehem, and an agricultural facility in the city of Al-Bireh, and prevented Palestinian farmers from entering their lands in the town of Beit Ummar in Hebron.

The report indicated that settlers continue their attacks on the cities and towns of the West Bank under the protection of the occupation forces, as they stormed the Old City in occupied Jerusalem and the town of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and attacked the homes and properties of Palestinians.

The enemy also prevented Palestinian farmers from entering their lands in the town of Masafer Yatta in Hebron and destroyed agricultural crops and bulldozed 15 dunums from Palestinian lands in the village of Jalud, south of Nablus, to establish a settlement outpost, the enemy also stormed the ancient Tel al-Sultan spring in the north of Jericho, the tomb of Joseph, east of Nablus, and the towns of Burqin in Salfit and Jaba in Jenin, and attacked the Palestinians and their property.
