Islah militias attack home of head of teachers union in Lahj

LAHJ, April 14 (YPA) – Islah militias attacked on Wednesday evening home of head of teachers union in Tawr al-Baha district of Lahj province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources mentioned that militants of 17th brigade opened fire at the house, leaving heavy damage to the home.

The sources confirmed that two military vehicles carrying militiamen attacked Ahmed al-Hairani home on the background of his criticism of the presence of Islah militants in the area.

The attack created a state of panic and confusion among women and children, but without casualties, the sources added.
