Football Championship dubbed “Yemen’s ballistic missiles” kicks off in capital

SANAA, May 29 (YPA) – The People’s Foundation for Social Development on Tuesday organized a football tournament dubbed “Yemen’s ballistic missiles” in the capital Sanaa.
Four teams, Borkan, Kaher, Zilzal and Badr are competing in the championship. The names of the four teams reflect the name of Yemen-made long-range ballistic missiles that have been using against Saudi-led coalition forces in the four-year-old war .
In the opening game, Borkan team beat Kaher in the match played in 22 May stadium a 8-3 win.
Ahmed Al-Mutawakel
