Iran reserves right to respond to attack against Natanz reactor: Salehi

SANAA, April 11 (YPA) – The head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi, stated that his country condemned the attacks against the enrichment center at the Natanz nuclear reactor and reserved the right to take measures against the perpetrators.

“Iran, while condemning this failed step, affirms the need for the international community and the International Atomic Energy Agency to deal with this nuclear terrorism,” Salehi was quoted by the Iranian Fars news agency as saying.

He stressed that his country would continue to seriously expand nuclear technology and work to lift the unjust ban.

He added: “The measure that was taken against the enrichment center in Natanz shows the failure of opponents of industrial and political progress in the country to prevent the great development of the nuclear industry and the successful negotiations to lift the unjust embargo.”
