A-QUDS, April 10 (YPA) – An Israeli report, issued after the Iranian “Saviz” ship was targeted in the Red Sea last Tuesday, stated that the Hebrew state is preparing to escalate the maritime confrontation with Iran.
The report, which was published by the official broadcasting organization “Kan 11”, added that “estimates indicate that the Israeli security establishment is preparing for the possibility of an Iranian response and escalation in the sea confrontation.”
Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army, Aviv Kochavi, headed to Washington to meet with his American counterpart to discuss the Iranian file and Israel’s security concerns about the possibility of Washington returning to the nuclear agreement, according to the report.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Ostia will arrive in Israel on Sunday as part of a tour that also includes Germany, Britain, and NATO’s headquarters in Brussels.
