HADRAMOUT, April 07 (YPA) – A massive protest rally was staged on Wednesday by dozens of women in Al-Mukalla city in Hadramout province to demand to improve essential services in the province.
At the rally, the participants denounced the deterioration of services, the collapse of the economy, and the rise of the food prices.
The protesters raised a number of banners warning the Saudi-backed Hadi government against the revolt of the hungry, demanding to increasing the employees’ salaries.
A similar women’s demonstration took place on Tuesday in Lahj province, calling for saving the Yemeni riyal from collapse and providing the basic needs of citizens.
