NCM warns against large dust wave within 24 hours

SANAA, April 03 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) warned on Saturday of a large dust wave sweeping desert areas within the next 24 hours.

The center expected that large parts of the deserts of the provinces of Mahra, Hadramout, Marib, Shabwa, Jawf, and Saada” will be affected by the widespread dust mass wave that may extend its impact to parts of Sanaa and Amran.

The center warned citizens in desert areas that are expected to be affected by the wave, especially patients, the elderly and children, not to be directly exposed to the dust because of its damage to public health.

He called on motorists to drive carefully on desert roads due to a decrease in the horizontal visibility.
