Al-Houthi accuses US of misleading peoples about humanitarian crisis in Yemen

SANAA, April 03 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, accused on Saturday America of manipulating terminology to mislead peoples of the world about the humanitarian crisis in Yemen for continuing the aggression.

Al-Houthi said on Twitter, “America said that it had lifted the designation of Ansar Allah Movement because of the humanitarian crisis,” asking, “If it is correct, then why not lift the siege on the Yemeni people to end the humanitarian crisis forever?

In a previous tweet, Al-Houthi stated that the countries of the American, British, Saudi, and Emirati coalition and their allies have said that the Yemeni people are not under the siege, adding, “They say that Yemen is on the brink of famine and is going through the biggest humanitarian crisis of man-made.”

He replied, “If Yemen were not under siege, it would not have reached this level, which those countries describe as the worst humanitarian crisis.”
