HADRAMOUT, March 30 (YPA) – A protester was killed on Tuesday and seven others wounded during a protest rally denouncing the living conditions in Hadramout province, local sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The sources confirmed that dozens of civilians protested in Broom Maifaa area in west of al-Mukalla city, demanding to provide basic services, including electricity, and control prices.
The sources declared that the governor of Hadramout loyal to coalition directed security forces to disperse the demonstrators with fire, who gathered to demand the provision of electricity and to reject the starvation policy and that led to injuring several citizens seriously.
