Hadi’s government leaves Aden

ADEN, March 27 (YPA) – Members of Hadi’s government have left the southern port city of Aden secretly in the past two days, sources familiar with the issue said.

Security concerns and instability led Hadi’s government ministers to leave Aden, Only minsters loyal to the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) are staying in the city, Pro-Islah media reported.

Informed sources said that some ministers left for Riyadh and others went to Cairo.

Hadi’s departure from Aden comes days after a surprise visit to Riyadh by Moeen Abdul Malik, who has not yet returned.

The coalition has put pressures on Hadi’s government, which it has been unable to implement, as well as deteriorating services and creating crises that have led to angry protests calling for the government’s departure.
